We are very proud to announce we have been awarded the full Lancashire Equality Mark! This is given to schools that can demonstrate a commitment to embedding equality throughout school and who enable all their pupils to thrive in a supportive learning community. For the past three years, our school has been working towards this mark. Working towards these different badges has created lots of opportunities within our school to celebrate our diverse and amazing school community. We are looking forward to finding yet more opportunities to celebrate and support our school community with different ways that we can continue to promote equality in school.
Express Yourself Day
As part of our work on equality, Pupil Council arranged an Express Yourself Day. Children were able to come dressed in the uniform of the occupation they aspire to be when they are older. What a fabulous day we had!
