Get Caught Reading

We are working hard to enhance our school-wide reading culture and are encouraging all pupils to read for pleasure this half-term. We would like the children to take photos of themselves reading in unusual places, which we would then like to display in school. This could be on a roller coaster, in tractors, on top of bookcases or at a holiday destination – we know the children will enjoy being creative and we can’t wait to see what and where they have been caught out reading!

Please ensure that the photo is no bigger than A4.

It can be in colour or black & white.

Write your child’s name and class on the back of the photo.

Include a short explanation of where the photo was taken and why, and what book your child has been reading.

Prizes will be awarded for the most creative reading places.

Please return all entries by Friday 11th November.

Have fun getting caught reading!
