Stone Age Day
Year 3 have recently been on a Stone Age Day at the Communitree Initiative in Summerseat, Bury.
Activities involved learning facts about The Stone Age, team work by building a den out of sabre tooth tiger skin (tarpaulin), tusks (pegs) & intestine (guy ropes). Finally, we cooked brioche and S’mores on a camp fire, listening to a Stone Age story and bow making. All the children enjoyed themselves as well as the adults! A fabulous day!
“Absolutely buzzing about the day’s events – gave me a step by step breakdown of what went on”
“Thank you for giving the children the opportunity to experience what life was like in The Stone Age.”
